Brandon
Brandon’s body hummed with pleasure as he felt Delilah’s breasts crushed against him and his cock still deep inside her. He was ready for round two, but he knew that they needed to get to the safe house.
Running his hands along her back, he kissed her ear as he decided that he had to have one last taste of her before they headed back. Slowly pulling out of her, as to minimize any discomfort, Brandon, reached between them and heard her intake of breath when he inserted two fingers into her tender pussy.
“Relax, Delish. I just wanted us to taste our own personal mix.” Pulling his fingers out, his eyes never left her hooded ones as he brought them up to her lips. She opened her mouth and sucked his fingers clean, making both of them moan.
He then trailed his fingers back down her body, but was surprised when she stopped him. He was enchanted when he watched her trail her fingers between her own swollen petals to then insert them in herself. It was the hottest thing he had ever witnessed. He groaned as she then removed them and brought them to his mouth. He immediately opened to have her give him a lick of his sensual dessert. Their combined taste was otherworldly. So perfect that he could hardly believe it. “Delish,” was all he whispered around her fingers, licking them clean.
With hands shaking from the raw emotion welling inside him, he brought her back down to him for a hug. Never had he felt so connected to anyone in his life. He knew that if he tried, he could never find anyone who would fill all the pieces of his cracked heart like this amazing woman.
As he stared up into the night sky, feeling her breath slowly caress his neck, he thought that this must be as close to Heaven as one could get on this Earth. The love making had been incredible, but it was the silent connection of emotion that made his heart swell. As he watched the stars twinkle in the night sky, he wished that he could lie with her every night for as long as he had on Earth. He knew that his hands were not clean, but the love in his heart was pure.
Chapter Twenty-One
Brandon
Cleaning the sand off of them had been a chore, especially in the dark. Making love on a beach had always sounded romantic and it certainly was, but the clean-up was something that he would remember for a long time to come.
“How about we take a bath when we get to the safe house? I’ll help you get all the sand out of the areas that are hard to reach,” he teased her as he wiggled his eyebrows at her. He was certain that they could now build a sand castle in his beloved Aston Martin.
“Ohhh, only if I get to soap you up first,” she giggled.
Brandon decided that her words and joyful giggle sounds rivaled any music he had ever heard.
“This feels so weird,” she observed as he placed her hand on his thigh.
“What do you mean?”
She squeezed his leg making him squirm. “Well, just the other day we were just friends. I’d lusted after you for so long, but never believed that this could happen.”
“Believe it, Delish,” he simply stated as they drove through Treasure Island.
“But…”
“But what?” His heart began to race. The way she said that one word made him dread what could come next.
“But, what if this is just the adrenaline talking? I mean, we just had a pretty terrifying night. I don’t want to lose your friendship in the morning.”
Brandon sighed. He had expected this kind of conversation. She didn’t have a bad point, but he knew that this wasn’t a fling due to hormones. It was a forever relationship which seemed to have been forever in the making. Deciding how to broach it was the hard part he decided that humor was the best path, “Are you saying that you are going to be tired of me in the morning?”
Delilah turned in her seat, shock written all over her face as she unconsciously pulled her hand away from his thigh. Brandon gave a little growl and grabbed it, putting it back on his leg. “No,” she breathily whispered. “I’m not using you like that, Brandon. I swear to you on my collection of Star Wars memorabilia, that I’m not. Use not, am I, as Yoda would say.”
Brandon couldn’t help but smile. That was a strong statement indeed. She was a geek to the core and he loved that about her. “Alright then. Just know, that whatever happens I will protect you. I will be your Jedi Knight.”
Brandon saw her body relax. She believed him, which meant she trusted him. This made him feel like Hercules. He would go through Hell for this woman and still ask for more.
“So where is this safe house?” Delilah asked.
Brandon pulled into a luxury condo building and parked the car. “Here,” he simply stated. He could tell she was surprised. “When we arrest bad guys, we, meaning the Secret Service or CIA, confiscate their things. Sometimes those things go back to their rightful owners, sometimes we auction them, and sometimes we keep them, if it suits us. This condo used to belong to the Russian mob. When we arrested them, we took the condo and turned it into a safe house. Who would think that a safe house would be in such a nice place, right?”
Chapter Twenty-Two
Delilah
Delilah tried to wrap her head around it all. She still expected to wake up in a few moments and find out that she just had an extremely vivid dream. The night had certainly been the oddest that she had ever lived through. Kidnapping, daring rescue, losing her virginity on the beach to her best friend who claimed to love her forever, and now at a luxury safe house in San Francisco. The only thing missing was a winning lottery ticket.
Remembering the intimate moments they had not so long ago, reminded her of how she had sand in her hair and looked worse for wear. Pulling down the car visor to check herself in the mirror, she cringed when she saw the picture looking back at her. Dear Lord, I look awful. Sand was still caked at the side of her hair and her skin looked blotchy. She knew that she often put up a confident front, but going to meet Brandon’s co-workers looking like she did was an embarrassing nightmare.
“Don’t slap yourself again,” Brandon sternly warned pointing a finger at her.
Delilah gave him a look, “Get out of my head.”
Brandon leaned across the dash and gave her a kiss on her cheek. Nuzzling her ear and putting his hand high on her thigh, he murmured, “And into your pants?”
“I…uhhh…” Delilah’s brain went blank.
Brandon laughed and moved to get out of the car. “You’re fine. The ladies will understand. I mean after all, you were kidnapped.”
Delilah combed her fingers through her grimy hair and grimaced. “Yeah. I’ll just tell them that I’m going for the windswept, beachy look.”
Once they made their way out of the car, Brandon surprised her by threading his fingers through hers. “Don’t worry, Delish. It’ll be fine.”
Delilah felt a little better at his reassurance. As the elevator crawled up the building, she just hoped that she could keep her nervous mouth under control.
“Brandon, can you do me a favor?”
Delilah about swooned when he looked down at her with loving, chocolate brown eyes. “I’d do anything for you. You know that.”
Delilah leaned into him a little, needing his strength. “If I start running my mouth, will you stop me. Maybe say a secret code word to me like Jabba the Hut?”
Brandon laughed as he ran his knuckles down the side of her cheek, making her shiver deliciously. “Delish, I doubt I can get Jabba the Hut into a normal conversation without people giving us both funny looks.”
“You’re right,” Delilah brought her hand up to bite her nails, until Brandon took it away and kissed the tips of her fingers.
“How about if you seem nervous, I ask you to make hot chocolate or something?” He suggested.
“Perfect,” Delilah agreed as the elevator doors opened to a long hallway. As they stepped out into the fancy hall, she noticed that everything looked expensive, from the carpet to the lighting fixtures. “Wow! The mafia must do well.”
“You have no idea,” Brandon chuckled as he led her down the hall to the fur
thest door. Giving it three raps, he waited until a feminine voice spoke some sort of spy gibberish that he returned.
Delilah took a deep breath, squeezing Brandon’s hand as the door swung open.
She wasn’t sure what she was expecting, but the two ladies who stood in the doorway looked friendly. The taller of the two was a beautiful redhead in her thirties, in green and the other was an attractive brunette, also in her thirties, in purple. She gave them a weak smile as Brandon pulled her through the door and closed it with a resonating thump.
Both of the ladies faces fell when they saw the mark around Brandon’s neck. “Are you okay?” The redhead cried.
Brandon lifted a hand to his neck and shrugged. “Oh yeah. This is nothing.” The ladies seemed to take his words seriously and turned their attention to Delilah. “Ladies, this is Delilah Faber. Delilah, the lady in the purple is Rebecca Saxon with the Secret Service.”
Delilah reached out and shook Rebecca’s hand. “Nice to meet you, Delilah.” Delilah was surprised by Rebecca’s British accent.
“Nice to meet you, too, Rebecca,” Delilah smiled at her.
“Surprised by the accent?” Rebecca gave her a knowing smile.
“To be honest, yes.”
“It’s what makes me such a good agent. No one expects a lady with a British accent to be an American Secret Service Agent,” she said with a wink.
Delilah laughed, “That’s true.”
The lady who Delilah knew had to be Olivia came up next to Rebecca. Delilah smiled at her as they shook hands.
“Nice to meet you, Delilah. I’ve heard sooooo much about you,” Olivia announced with a mischievous wink.
Delilah didn’t want to admit that she had thought that Olivia and Brandon had been an item. She blushed. “I’ve heard a lot about you too.”
Brandon pulled her close to his body and unwound his hand from hers to put it along her shoulders. “So much so that she thought we were dating, Olivia.”
With that, Olivia started laughing hard. “Me? Date him? Ha! He’s so in love with you that I don’t think that he could see a naked supermodel standing in front of him. In fact, I recall on one mission in Paris where…”
“Thanks Olivia,” Brandon cut her off with a look.
Olivia gave Delilah another smile, “I’ll fill you in later,” she whispered conspiratorially. “Come on in and sit at the table. We ordered a pizza for you guys. We assumed that you would be starving. Luckily Mello’s was open late.”
It was almost as if Olivia’s words opened Delilah’s floodgates of hunger. Her stomach started growling and everyone laughed.
As they walked to the palatial, modern kitchen, Rebecca sided up next to Delilah, “Would you like to grab a quick shower? No offense, you look like you were dragged through the sand.”
“Oh! No, I wasn’t….” Delilah started. Shut up! She yelled at herself. “I mean I wasn’t dragged through the sand. Though I am dirty. But it’s not because we made love in the sand. I mean…you know…it’s the windswept look,” she lamely concluded as she touched her grimy hair.
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Brandon thump his forehead with his palm. Then with a humored voice he calmly suggested, “Delish, why don’t you get yourself a slice of pizza?”
“Sounds good. Thanks,” Delilah all but ran to the box on the counter, wishing she could jump in it. The ladies were kind and began pulling out chairs from the table. Delilah listened to the movements taking place behind her in the room. She could feel how red her face was and she couldn’t bear to turn around and face them. Dear Zelda, my mouth runs uncontrollably. Horrifying!
As she stuffed a piece of pepperoni pizza in her mouth, she felt a strong pair of arms come around her, pulling her back against a solid, muscular chest. Delilah closed her eyes as she felt Brandon nuzzle her ear.
“You okay, Delish?” his deep voice made his chest rumble.
“Yeah,” she sighed. “Just wishing I could crawl inside this pizza box and die.”
“Can’t have that. Who else would soap me up?” With those words he ground his hard cock into her rear end.
Delilah stifled a moan as she felt heat flowing from her. There was no way she wanted an audience to their love making. Well, at least not one so up close and personal.
“Well, you’ve got me there,” she whispered.
“Come. Join us at the table. I can tell they like you already for putting up with me.” With that, he placed a kiss under her ear and reached around, taking her hand.
Delilah could still feel the flush on her face as she met the interested gazes of the two kind women at the table.
“I have to commend you for putting up with him,” Olivia said in way of welcoming Delilah to the table. “I’ve been his handler since he joined the CIA and I have to tell you, he is one tough guy. He’s made very scary men weep.”
This broke the ice and made Delilah laugh. Looking over at Brandon smiling back at her, it was so hard to imagine this gorgeous man having such a dangerous side if she hadn’t witnessed it for herself. He looked like he had walked off one of those Calvin Klein perfume ads where the models were running around at the beach and dancing in the surf.
‘Well, I have to tell you ladies that Delilah scolded her captors for not providing her with futuristic clothing,” Brandon laughed as he pointed a thumb at her.
The two ladies looked at her with confusion. Delilah gave Brandon a look, assuring him that she would get even with him later. “Well, when I get nervous, my mouth tends to run without thinking.”
“Hadn’t noticed,” Rebecca stated with amusement.
“Yeah! Well, it was really stupid of me to say anything, In fact, I’m still kicking myself. Kidnapping is no laughing matter. But in my nervousness, I told the goon that I felt cheated that I didn’t get some tacky, futuristic outfit like the captives got on Bond movies and in Austin Powers. Frack! Even Princess Leia got a cheesy outfit from Jabba the Hut!” Delilah stated with a fist bump to the table then turned to Brandon, “See, I was able to mention Jabba the Hut in normal conversation.”
Brandon held his hands up and laughed, “You got me there. But you make it sound normal.”
“How did the guy respond?” Rebecca cut in their personal conversation.
“Well, he made some comment about women always talking about clothes. Luckily, he seemed pretty chill about it. I got lucky,” Delilah looked down at the table. The fear of being kidnapped rushed through her again as she remembered the moment she awoke in the dark, damp warehouse. Brandon placed a hand on her knee and squeezed it, bringing her back to the present.
“Yes, you were,” Rebecca agreed. She then looked over at Brandon, “Should she leave while we discuss business?”
Brandon leaned back in his chair, pushing his plate forward. It was only then that Delilah noticed that he must have inhaled his food. “We can trust her. Besides, I think she may be able to help us.”
Delilah’s ears perked up at that. She had always wanted to be a secret agent, well as long as she didn’t get shot at.
Brandon continued talking, “They were definitely connected to Bohalov. They spoke the regional dialect and I heard them say his name a few times. The men sent were under the bratva boss, Andrei Nicholi’s jurisdiction.”
“What were they saying?” Rebecca asked as she stepped over to a small bag and pulled out a laptop.
“Well, as we know, the bratva have been putting wireless credit card taps in store’s registers and then sitting out in the parking lot as the numbers of the guests are transmitted. I stole the list of credit card numbers when I left Inhovakia and deleted them from the mainframe there. I can assume that they are pretty pissed at me and that’s why they took Delilah.”
“Someone must have been trailing you these last few days,” Olivia said as she took a sip of her drink.
“The guy who kidnapped me had a deep, Eastern European accented voice. He was quite husky. He approached me in my apartment parking lot asking me where a buildin
g was and then nabbed me and put a cloth to my face. I assume it was chloroform, or at least that’s what I’m guessing from all the movies I’ve seen,” Delilah contributed as she munched on another slice.
“Judging by how you are, I am certain it was chloroform,” Brandon agreed as he squeezed her thigh.
“He was there at the warehouse. He was one of the ones that you took out with your Bruce Lee moves,” Delilah told Brandon as she imitated a karate chop.
Brandon grunted and took another sip of his drink. Delilah was simply amazed by her best friend turned lover. She knew that he was strong, but to be eating pizza and chatting so calmly after taking down four, huge, scary men with his hands made him some sort of Superman in her book.
“Were there more transmitting terminals in the warehouse?” Rebecca asked.
Brandon shrugged, “I’m not sure. There were lots of crates, but the one I did open had bomb materials in it.”
“Are you thinking they are trying to move into the black market?” Olivia inquired.
Just then, Rebecca’s phone let out a shrill ring. “Excuse me,” she stood up taking the phone. “Looks like some of my agents may be reporting to me about what was found.”
Delilah watched her leave. This night was so odd from start to finish. “So, you said that I might help. I am really no Lara Croft. Believe me, but I would do my best.”
Brandon chuckled, “Oh, I know!”
Delilah tried to give him a bugged look, but ended up laughing. He really knew her too well. Brandon reached over and pulled her into a hug. Delilah’s heart soared at the look of pure happiness on his face.
“So this is it?” Olivia asked smugly.
“What do you mean?” Brandon gave Delilah a kiss on her forehead.
“I’ve watched you for years, Brandon. I never worried that a bad guy would make you fall. You are too good for that. But to fall in love, now that was something I had hoped to see. I’m happy for you.” Olivia gave him a fond smile.
Delilah gave her a smile as she snuggled into Brandon’s chest. “Me too.”
