As they entered the small conference room that they had taken over as their own, Brandon’s stomach growled at the smell of the delicious food. Feasting on Delilah had satisfied one urge, but not all.

Rebecca already had the food out on the table and had pinned the blueprints to the building up on the wall. She had also made a paper with the timeline of events and who would be where. Brandon had to admit, the woman impressed him.

“Hi! I hope you don’t mind I got things ready so we could work while we eat,” Rebecca gave them a large smile as she waved a hand at the food on the table.

“Looks great!” Olivia rubbed her hands together and then grabbed a plate.

Once they were all seated, Brandon decided that it was time to go over the game plan. Brandon was pleased that he and Delilah were on one side of the long, rectangular table, while Rebecca and Olivia sat on the other. He wanted to make sure that everything worked like clockwork to ensure their safety and so that he could get Delilah back home in bed as quickly as possible.

“So we will arrive at the residence early and await the dinner order. Rebecca informed me that they tend to have dinner delivered around that time. I plan to go in under the guise of a deliveryman.”

Rebecca nodded as she ate another bite of rice while Olivia seemed glued to the reports in front of her.

“There are six people in the residence, according to the thermal scans that I took this morning.” Olivia turned one of the pages and stood to look at the pictures of the old Victorian manor in San Francisco that he would be breaking into.

Sitting so close to Delilah was causing his body to riot, demanding her touch. Under the table, he reached over and put his hand on her silky thigh. Immediately, she stiffened and gave him a look as she dropped the food from her chopsticks.

He loved seeing her off balance like this. Giving her a wink, he slowly trailed his fingers up the inside of her silky thigh, until he reached her underwear. He couldn’t help but smile as he wondered if they were Wonder Woman panties or the ones that had delicate roses on them. Pushing the fabric aside, he snuck a finger between her welcoming folds. He didn’t look over at her, but he could hear her make a little choking sound as he began teasing her sensitive clit, swirling the juices he found below onto the tender area.

Brandon hoped he appeared all professional waist up, because waist down he was anything but. “I plan to enter and take control,” with the word enter, he inserted two fingers deep into Delilah’s pussy, causing her to make a strangled sound. Reaching for her water, she gave him a bug-eyed look as she took a sip. Brandon needed a moment to compose his thoughts. The feel of her honeyed passage squeezing his fingers tightly, along with the danger of getting caught, was fueling his bad boy blood.

Olivia hadn’t turned around from the photos and Rebecca was looking at photos, so they hadn’t noticed Delilah and Brandon’s distraction.

“I think that’s the best plan. You can hide a weapon in the delivery bag. Pull it out and go from there,” Olivia matter-a-factly stated as if he were doing something as mundane as trying on clothes. “I think that Rebecca and Delilah should park the van here.” With that, she placed a red X on one of the pictures of the picturesque San Francisco fancy neighborhood street.

Brandon pumped his fingers into Delilah, loving the way that she was squirming without trying to appear to be. The wetness seeping from her was leaking down her legs and would surely wet the seat in another moment or two. Brandon reached down and with his other hand, readjusted his raging erection. It was hard to think when all his blood had moved south. Pulling his fingers from her, he looked her right in the eye as he licked her cream from them. He smiled as he heard her let out a small purr of satisfaction.

Turning his attention back to Olivia and Rebecca, he was happy to see that they didn’t appear to notice the side show going on. Turning his lustful brain back to the task at hand was hard, but he tried to focus on the details that could save his life - her life. “I think that’s perfect. I spoke to Richard and this is a kill mission, meaning I will not be taking any captives. I hate it when I get these, but taking the bratva down will only take Bohalov with them and allow Inhovakia to hopefully find some peace.”

He noticed a shadow pass over Rebecca’s face, but she immediately covered it.

“So, I will stay here and man the computers, Rebecca and Delilah will be out in the van, and I will also have a tactical team ready to report should anything go haywire,” Olivia announced. “Anything else?”

“How early do I need to head over to hack into the security cameras?” Delilah asked. Brandon was so proud of her. She was really becoming a part of the team. The little flush on her cheeks told him that she liked it or what he had been doing to her. Either way, he couldn’t wait to have his fill of her again.

Olivia clapped her hands together, making Brandon jump out of his daydream. “Okay! Now that we have covered the basics, let’s go over the mission a few times and make sure that we plan for every eventuality. Good question, Delilah. I’ve made a timeline.”

  Chapter Thirty-Two

  Delilah

Delilah’s legs felt wobbly as she stood at the back of the van in the CIA garage.

“I’ll see you soon, Delish. Be good and I will reward you,” Brandon gave her a roguish smile before pressing a kiss to her lips and giving her rear a playful smack.

“Be careful. I’m really worried about you.” She hated how her voice trembled as she said it. This had all seemed so exciting a few hours ago, but now, it was terrifying. What if he didn’t make it? What if something went wrong? “Brandon, could someone else go instead?”

Brandon shook his head making his wavy hair flop a bit. He looked so much like a model it was hard to believe that he would be making bad guys bleed in the next few hours. She leaned into him as his big hands came up to cup her cheeks. Pressing his forehead to hers, she bit back a little cry, “Delish, I’ll be fine. It has to be me. I have a score to settle with these bastards. They took what is mine and now they will pay.” He pressed a kiss to her forehead and then pressed his brow to hers again. Looking her in the eye, he gave her a cocky grin, “Besides, I’m the best.”

Delilah tried to hold it together, but a tear tracked its way down her check. Using the back of her hand, she wiped it. “Darn my contacts!”

Brandon let out a laugh, “You don’t wear contacts.”

“Yeah, well. You be careful. I’ll be in the van. Don’t make me go in there and bail you out,” she tried to sound stern, but her voice broke on the last word. She never thought of herself as the clingy type, but she was about to be if she couldn’t get a grip.

“The best thing you can do for me is to stay where you are supposed to be. If I don’t have to worry about you that would take a load of stress off me.”

Delilah nodded. She understood what he meant. “Okay. Love you.” Looking into his eyes, she loved the warm tone they took.

Smiling like a fool, he pulled her to him. “Love you too, Sandy Vajayjay.” He took her lips.

This kiss was different than the rest. It was a possession. His mouth claimed hers aggressively, forcing her lips to open to his marauding tongue. One of his hands made its way down to her rear, where he cupped it, as his other hand wove itself into her hair, holding her to him. She had always assumed that she would hate to have someone else take charge, but she loved this. Delilah felt with his body that he was telling her that this was not just a fling but a lasting addiction. One that he would never get over as well. Her heart felt both safe and excited at the prospect.

“Cut it out, you two!” Rebecca’s teasing voice called out from the other side of the garage.

Delilah whipped around to see her standing at the doorway, looking as put together as ever. She looked more like she was ready for a professional meeting than a long wait in the back of a “plumbing” van. As she began walking toward them, Delilah couldn’t help but notice her fuck me shoes as she clicked her way across the garage floor. They seemed
more like something one would wear to meet a lover, but either way, she looked fantastic.

Brandon never took his eyes off Delilah, “Can’t blame me for sneaking one last kiss with my girl.”

“Ha! If I hadn’t come in when I had, I’m sure the van would have been rocking.”

Delilah felt herself try to pull away from Brandon in embarrassment, while she creamed her panties. She was a mess of contradictions as she wanted him in the worst way, but also wanted to be professional.

“Not a bad idea, Rebecca. Come back in ten!” Brandon commanded as he took another handful of Delilah’s rear.

Rebecca looked at her watch, like she was considering it.

“Really! I’m ready! Brandon was teasing!” Delilah cried out as she tried to push against Brandon’s solid, muscular chest, never taking her eyes off Rebecca, who gave her a smile.

Brandon started kissing her neck. “I really wasn’t.” He called back. “Doesn’t a man walking into a potential gunfire get one last request?”

Delilah gave a weak laugh as she pushed against his chest. As much as she would have loved to give into him, they had work to do. “Come on, Brandon. Time to get going. This isn’t the time for hanky-panky.”

“Ohh! I love it when you talk all sexy like that,” he teased. Bending down, he gave her one last passionate kiss, as he squeezed a handful of her rear, and then let her go. Smiling like he didn’t have a care in the world, Brandon gave her a little salute and then turned on his heel, put his hands in his pockets, and whistled as he left the garage.

Delilah turned to see Rebecca standing there, watching her carefully. She didn’t know what to say. Romance was beyond her usual experience and she was certain that passionate kisses by spy’s before missions was not in the relationship handbook. “Umm, are you ready to go?” She motioned toward the van.

Rebecca came closer and laughed. “I guess I should ask if you are ready to go.”

  Delilah blushed, “Yes. I’m ready.”

  “Great. Then let’s go!”

  Chapter Thirty-Three

  Delilah

“I have to tell you, Rebecca, that I have learned one thing these past few days,” Delilah commented as she unbuckled her seatbelt.

  “What’s that?”

“Well, I always thought that the bad guys stuck to bad areas in town. You know, like warehouses and stuff, but I have been proven wrong again. First the safe house condo, and now this,” she swept her hand toward the windshield to encompass the quiet, tree lined street. Like most San Francisco streets, this one had a bit of an incline, but not too bad. The homes were all old Victorians, with beautiful gingerbread gracing the peaks. As per usual, the front door was reached by a set of gracious steps leading to a small porch. The colors of the Victorians were just as fun as their looks. One was two shades of purple, while the house that they were watching was white and blue. The gingerbread was painted gold. “I seriously am beginning to wonder if I’m in the wrong business,” she announced as she started to follow Rebecca to the back of the van.

“I know what you mean. I hear that they have a Maserati in there.”

“A Maserati?” Delilah could hardly believe her ears. “Now I know I’m in the wrong business!”

Rebecca laughed as she flipped on the monitors. “Donaldson infiltrated their system and put up the wireless transmitter last night. Let’s see if it works.”

Sure enough, images from inside the house popped up on the screen. Delilah watched as a suited man walked down a hall, the beautiful kitchen came into the view, and their white, plumber’s van on the street from the outside security camera.

“Why do they always wear suits?” Delilah mumbled to herself as she watched the man grab a glass from a cabinet and fill it with water.

Rebecca, who was busy manning some of the other feeds on her side, answered without looking, “The Boss Man is there, so they have to look their best.”

Delilah grunted as she watched him walk back down the hall and into one of the rooms along the corridor. “Well, I can tell that this will probably be boring until the main show starts.”

Rebecca chuckled, “Ninety-nine percent of our work is super boring. It’s the one percent where you think you might wet your pants is what we live for.”

“Yeah, I guess so. We have an hour until Brandon comes, right?”

“Yes. An hour. So, Delilah, tell me what it’s like to be a computer programmer?”

Delilah laughed. People asked her what it was like to work for Nebula One, but they rarely asked about her work there. The company certainly overshadowed anything else. “To be honest, it’s not that exciting. I spend my days programming fake galaxies and then recalibrating the planet’s axis in them. Since Nebula One had that hacking incident…”

“Oh yeah, I heard about that,” Rebecca cut in.

“Yeah, well, they are super careful now with the pro gaming worlds. The International tournament is coming up and they left it to me and one other person to create the whole gaming world for it.”

“That sounds like a big job.”

“It is! Just two of us to make up the galaxies and the planets is ridiculous! Usually it takes a team of people a year. They want Lucas and me to have it done at warp speed!”

“You must be good at what you do for them to give you that trust.”

Delilah turned to look at Rebecca, who was manning the controls behind her, “Yeah, I mean I was flattered at first, but that wore away quickly as the hours engulfed my life.”

Rebecca turned in her chair as well. “I can understand that. I’m always working too in this job. At least you get paid better. Government jobs never pay well.”

Delilah chewed on that for a moment. “Yeah, I guess. But at least your days are different. I go into a cubicle in the morning and rarely leave it during the day.”

Rebecca tipped her head, “You got me there. It can also be so frustrating to see the bad guys living in such style compared to my okay apartment in Emeryville.”

“I bet that’s true! Do you have a boyfriend?” Delilah asked as she reached down to the cooler they brought and pulled out a soda. “Want one?”

“No, thanks. As for the boyfriend, I’m seeing someone casually. It looks like you and Brandon are quite the couple. He can hardly take his hands off you. How did you meet?”

Delilah nodded as she swallowed her soda and set it down. “We were best friends in high school. We were certainly the odd couple then. He was a ‘bad boy,’” Delilah used air quotes to emphasize her meaning, “and as you might guess, I was geeky.”

  “How did you meet?”

“Well, it was raining one day after school and I had locked myself out of my house again. I was laying on my porch, waiting for my parents to come home, when he came up and offered to help me. He then sat there on the porch with me, playing cards, until my parents came home.”

“What did your parents think of a bad boy being with you?”

“Frankly, they were thrilled. I was such an introvert, they were happy to see that someone was bringing me out of my shell. I think they always saw through his image to who he was. They love him.”

“Then they must be happy that you are now in a relationship with him.”

Delilah gave a little laugh, “Everything’s happened so quickly I haven’t had a chance to tell them. I imagine they will be pleased. I hope they will.”

Rebecca gave a small noise of agreement. “I will tell you what I know, and I don’t mean this to deter you, but a relationship with an agent is one where you will be alone more often than with him.”

Delilah felt deflated at those words. She knew it to be true, but didn’t want to hear it. A part of her was mad at Rebecca for popping her euphoric bubble, but on the other hand, she was grateful that someone was making her touch the ground. “Yeah, I guess we’ll deal with that after things have calmed down. He would be in the same boat. We have shared a condo for years; one that he is never at. And with my new work schedule, neither am I.

Rebecca gave her a little sad look and nodded. Delilah took another sip of her soda and pulled out her phone. “Looks like he will be here in ten minutes. It certainly has gotten dark fast.”

Rebecca nodded her head as a telephone ring came through the surveillance system. “Just on schedule!” she announced as she picked up a headset and placed a finger over her lips, telling Delilah to be quiet.

“Mario’s Pizza, may I take your order?” She said into the headset. Delilah tried to hold back her laughter as Rebecca even made sounds like she was smacking gum. “Okay, so you wanna large Pepperoni, a large everything, and a small cheese?” she paused for a moment as she listened to the person on the other line. “It’ll be…” she waved her hand in the air like she was looking for a number, “Seventy-six fifty. What’s the name?” she paused again, “Sergei? Okay, got it. And your address?” she pretended to write.

Delilah turned around and was taken aback when she could see the man in question making the call from the kitchen. It was so bizarre.

“Thanks honey. Get that to you in forty minutes,” Rebecca then hung up the phone. Delilah turned, just as Rebecca did the same and they laughed.

“I didn’t realize that you were going to intercept their calls, as well,” Delilah pointed to the headset.

“Oh yeah, it was the only way to ensure the timing was right. With that said,” she pulled out her cell and texted the team. “There, Brandon knows we are running on time.”

Delilah felt a shudder of fear run through her body. The man in the screen was large and burly. Thinking about Brandon fighting him made her nervous. Sure, he had taken down three huge guys by himself, but she still couldn’t control the undercurrent of terror that ran through her. She realized that she wanted a life with Brandon and hoped he wasn’t caught up in the adventure. She wasn’t sure what that life might look like, but she was willing to make changes to her current situation, if necessary.
